We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Process, Risk Management & Digitalisation Specialist to support the transformation and continuous improvement of our client’s global procurement function.

Working closely with Procurement, IT, Finance, Quality and Operations teams, you’ll play a key role in developing standardised procurement processes, enhancing digital capabilities, strengthening supplier risk management and improving data-driven decision-making across an international manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve global procurement processes, procedures and best practices.
  • Standardise procurement methodologies across international locations to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce complexity and enhance procurement performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise procurement operations.
  • Support procurement transformation programmes and drive operational excellence.

Procurement Digitalisation

  • Lead procurement digitalisation and automation initiatives, including e-sourcing platforms, supplier portals, negotiation tools, analytics solutions and AI-enabled procurement technologies.
  • Support the implementation of new procurement systems, digital tools and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure procurement systems integrate effectively with ERP and business platforms.
  • Drive adoption of digital solutions through training, user support and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency through technology and automation.

Procurement Systems & Data Management

  • Manage and optimise procurement systems, including ERP platforms, supplier databases, spend analytics and reporting tools.
  • Develop procurement dashboards, KPIs and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent procurement master data.
  • Use data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier trends and performance improvements.
  • Support improvements in procurement reporting, visibility and governance.

Supplier Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain a global supplier risk management framework.
  • Monitor supplier risks including financial stability, geopolitical factors, capacity constraints, sustainability performance and supply chain resilience.
  • Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support supplier risk assessments throughout the supplier lifecycle.
  • Develop and support risk mitigation plans including dual sourcing, contingency planning, supplier audits and business continuity strategies.

Governance, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Support procurement governance processes, internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Promote responsible and sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain.
  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Operations and IT teams to deliver procurement improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement teams on new processes, systems and best practices.
  • Support change management activities associated with procurement transformation projects.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across global locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience developing and improving procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems, ERP platforms and digital procurement tools.
  • Experience managing supplier risk and improving supply chain resilience.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English (written and spoken).

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
  • Experience implementing procurement digitalisation, automation solutions or e-sourcing platforms.
  • Knowledge of supplier management systems and procurement technology solutions.
  • Understanding of sustainability, ESG and responsible sourcing principles.
  • Project Management or Change Management qualification/experience.
  • Experience using systems such as Power BI, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Jaggaer, Ariba or similar procurement platforms.
