Are you ready to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding work environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer – E/E to join our Client’s Quality department. In this role, you will take on the responsibility for Supplier Quality activities related to E/E commodities within the assigned programs. Working collaboratively with Programs, Engineering, and Procurement, you’ll play a crucial role in resolving Supplier-related challenges and shaping a supply chain that consistently delivers high-quality products on time.
You will be expected to lead activities related to non-conforming products, containment measures, root cause analysis, and problem resolution using methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc. Drive towards implementing robust Permanent Corrective Actions.
Support Supplier Quality activities, including Supplier Assessments, Process Audits, Surveillance Visits, and lead APQP when required. Review and analyse PPAP submissions.
Assist in developing and implementing a supplier performance monitoring system. Work towards establishing policies that drive continual improvement in the supply chain and facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers.
Work closely with procurement, customers, designers, project managers, and suppliers to formulate improvement plans and achieve performance enhancements. Conduct quality performance reviews and Lesson Learned activities.
You will need to have a passion for thriving in a fast-paced and success driven environment, whilst having a technical proficiency in one or more of the following commodities: Li-Ion Cells, PCB and PCBAs, sensors, harnesses.
It will be expected that you have a formal engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/D, Degree, apprenticeship) with demonstrated experience in a Supplier Quality role with a familiarity with quality systems and tools such as ISO9001, IATF16949, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, ISO14001.
