Current Vacancy: Software Engineer (Sofia & Botevgrad)

Our client is developing and producing pressure and temperature sensors for various automotive applications. Car manufacturers today are faced with increasing challenges. Technological requirements are continuously stepped up, because of the demand for performance, safety, efficiency and clean emissions. With our innovative products we strive to contribute to an environmentally friendly industry. We are looking for a new colleague for the position of: Quality Engineer 

To develop and support software for new machines control, upgrade existing machine control software, production processes management. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Developing machine control software for standalone and/or automated lines equipment; 
  • Taking part in on-site software debugging, machines further adaptation and optimization 
  • Participating in the preparation of software specifications for project development 
  • Analyzing the existing software and improving the production processes 
  • Working closely in project team with mechanical designers and electrical engineers 
  • Traveling to the production sites near Sofia, when needed 
  • Providing training and support for maintenance team for newly installed equipment

Job Requirements 

  • M.S/B.S. diploma in Computer Programming related technical specialty 
  • Experience in developing reliable, well-structured software in C#, .NET, ASP.NET 
  • Experience in using MS SQL Server 
  • Experience in design and testing of software 
  • PLC programming (Beckhoff, Mitsubishi) knowledge is an advantage 
  • Serial and field-bus communications experience 
  • Servo motion control 
  • Automated Optical Inspection – vision system programming knowledge is an advantage 
  • Good knowledge in Electronics; 
  • Proficiency in English language (both spoken and written) 
  • Ability to write program documentation
