Client: Calsonic Kansei

Location: Washington, UK

Jigsaw Business Group was commissioned by leading automotive specialist Calsonic Kansei to deploy a series of business improvements across its 1st tier injection moulded and painted parts division. The improvements implemented saw Jigsaw Business Group place two interim managers to enable significant improvements to capacity, quality and deliveries.  Now with a self-managed team, Calsonic Kansei benefits from savings of £69k per month on special transport, has reduced its staff overhead and scrappage materials, as well as significantly reduced its plant downtime.

A multinational manufacturer of business jets and rail – Bombardier – commissioned Jigsaw Business Group to conduct a value stream review, verify data, recommend and implement improvements to its 2-shift Bogey re-manufacturing operation at its Crewe manufacturing plant. From the review process the company made a series of recommendations that significantly enhanced the re-manufacturing process.

With a significant uplift in demand for renewable energy across the globe, Vestas – one of the world’s largest designer, manufacturer, installer, and maintainer of wind turbines – needed to increase its output quickly and effectively without disrupting existing production.
